Another week, another 5 awesome shows. Congrats to our winners this morning and to everybody who text and rang in this morning, you were a very active wee bunch today weren’t you? We love it.

So this morning we had Tim Chesney in studio for a chat and live to air, Tim does the Strange Book Review on Tuesdays, bet you didn’t know he was a musician! Check out this vid of Tim’s song ‘All We Could Do’, and catch me and Spanky help out with BVs. I like the way my face goes serious when I’m singing then happy when I’m not, perhaps I’m telling myself something. Thanks for coming in Tim! Make sure you check the man out in a couple of weeks the Harbour Sessions over there in Lyttleton.

Kicking off the show we were lucky enough to talk to a real live martial artist who goes by the name of Dr. Kyle G McWilliams. Dr. Kyle practices the ancient art of doce pares eskrima and is a very deadly man. Fortunately he’s also highly intelligent and knows when not to kill people. Anyway, find out more on this Filipino style of kicking ass with sticks.

Also today we chatted with Amy Hewgill on Knitting in Public Day which is tomorrow, so if you see someone with a couple of huge needles and the beginnings of a scarf spewing forth, for god’s sake, hug them. There is talk of a speed knitting competition, makes sure you see this! Have a listen for more info:

And lastly Andrew Snook from Invader Tron joined us to tell what’s been going on in his world and of course in light of his debut album as well as upcoming gigs in ChCh. For more info on Invader Tron be sure to check out Delicious.co.nz.

Have a great weekend, take care out there, look after each other and we’ll see you back on Monday at 7:30am. Love you!
